After turning heads around the globe with his Tony Manero - which follows a serial killer who models himself after John Travolta - the pressure was on Chile's Pablo Larrain to deliver on his follow up feature. And he did just that with his Venice-selected Post Mortem.
Once again set against the backdrop of Chile's political upheavals in the 1970s this one revolves around a nondescript man who assists in the local mortuary, documenting corpses as they pass through the doors. And in the Pinochet years there was no shortage of corpses.
The film is due for theatrical release in France soon and the French trailer has just arrived on the scene. Check it below.
