Full lineup for the Leeds International Film Festival 2010!

For UK festival-goers like myself wanting to prove we can still get in on the fun further up the country - the 24th Leeds International Film Festival has just recently announced their full lineup. Running from 4th-21st November 2010, split into five programmes (experimental, documentaries, genre, the official selection and short films) you can check out the details on the festival's official site right now.

You can order festival passes at reduced early bird prices until 23rd October, passes for the festival's regular special events (Night of and Day of the Dead) and more.

I'll be at the festival again, doing my best to write up some of the choicest highlights - this year LIFF gets Never Let Me Go, Palme D'Or winner Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives, Animal Kingdom, The Loved Ones, The Pack, Rare Exports, and Red, White & Blue just to pick a handful. (As ever, many are UK or north of England premieres.)

There's an anime section as part of the Fanomenon genre program with Redline, Gintama, new sci-fi noir Mardock Scramble and much more, plus a whole slew of retrospective screenings including Doctor Strangelove and a restored print of Metropolis. Given I can only manage a week up there, my most pressing concern is deciding when to go. Looking forward to it regardless!
