But beyond that they liked it and wanted to make it badly enough to kick their own money into making it we knew nothing. But things just got a whole lot clearer.
Deadline is reporting that earlier today Fox won a multiple studio bidding war for the project. The script - written by Grahame-Smith himself - is in hand and the plan is to begin shooting the $70 million picture in March. Bekmambetov directs with Burton producing and the axe-wielding president yet to be cast.
