I don't often dedicate posts to poster art but anything involving Thai director Wisit Sasanatieng (Tears of the Black Tiger, Citizen Dog) is a special case, particularly when the film in question is his long awaited revival of classic Thai superhero The Red Eagle.
The first poster for the film - one that was simply the hero's mask on a black background - appeared along with the first trailer and now there's a new one sheet and while I doubt that this will be the final effort it does offer a good look at that mask in use.
Filming on this was delayed significantly due to a serious motorcycle accident suffered by star Ananda Everingham but rather than recast to keep things on schedule the producers and director opted to wait out Everingham's recovery and rehabilitation period to get the Eagle they wanted. And I'm pleased they did.
In case you missed it the first time you can check out the trailer again below.
