Limits? MGM is out there

The damn-near doomed MGM has coughed up some serious dough (six figures says Variety!) to get the ball rolling on a big-screen adaptation of the scifi/horror/fantasy series, The Outer Limits.

Saw writers/stars of the way underrated Affleck/Damon reality series Project Greenlight, Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan are scripting.

The Outer Limits aired from 1963-65 on ABC and was rebooted in 1995 for Showtime, later airing on SyFy. 

**By the way, someone get Bravo or HBO back on the Greenlight bus. Must see TV for film geeks everywhere.
