Renaissance as a co-producer here bodes well for the quality of the actual animation work. And now, with the French release coming later this year, a first handful of stills has emerged. It's an odd mix of styles, an unlikely fusion of brightly colored comic book and grim noir, but I like what I'm seeing so far ...
