Full marks to Quiet Earth for spotting upcoming Czech thriller The Eye (aka Oko, Oko Ve Zdi and The Eye In The Wall). Giving a rare lead role to gifted and prolific character actor Karel Roden - far too often relegated to anonymous European bad guy parts in Hollywood - is more than enough reason to pay attention to this one but with a cast that also includes Jurgen Prochnow and a trailer that promises elegant, intelligent scares ... well, I'm sold.
