While we here at ScreenAnarchy-central have been busily preparing for this years editions of Fantastic Fest and Sitges it's easy to forget that there's another rather large festival just around the corner, one much closer to home. That'd be Montreal's Festival de Nouveau Cinema - Canada's longest running festival - and it's got a good number of titles in its edgy TEMPS O program that should have ScreenAnarchy-readers running to buy tickets. Among them?
The world premiere of Toshiaki Toyoda's Blood of Rebirth, the trailer of which is embedded below. The North American premiere of Japanese indie hit - and PiFan award-winner - 8000 Miles. The North American premiere of neo-giallo Amer, whose poster art just blew us away. Mother, Metropia, Kinatay, Musashi, and on and on it goes. Get the point? Damn good lineup. Get out there if you can!
