Hide your sheep...Joe Lynch to enter the realm of BADASSDOM

WRONG TURN 2 director, and uber cinegeek, Joe Lynch has been crowned director of the forthcoming KNIGHTS OF BAD ASSDOM. Penned by newcomers Matt Wall and Kevin Dreyfuss, KOBA (short for the aforementioned title, you don't really expect me to type that long ass handle out every time do you?) is described as "a heavy metal horror flick" with comedic overtones along the lines of SHAUN OF THE DEAD or AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON. No casting news yet, but according to sources, shooting is scheduled to begin in October.
Being a fan of WT2 and it's nutty brand of gleeful gore, and knowing what a true fan of movies ranging from the cheesiest sleaze to the upper crust of the highbrow Lynch is, it's great news to me that he has finally taken his second feature film assignment. And the fact that it was passed onto him personally by the legendary John Landis' recommendation makes it extra nerdalicious. It seriously just doesn't get any cooler than that folks.
