We wrote earlier about Vietnamese martial-art drama The Legend Is Alive - a new martial arts oriented drama from the director of art-house hit The White Silk Dress that stars The Rebel's Dustin Nguyen as a mentally disabled martial arts master drawn into a fight with a gang of human trafficers. Nguyen, always reliable, was our first attraction to the film but we were soon swept in by the compelling block of trailers - all of which you'll find below the break. And apparently we weren't the only ones who took notice as the film has just won five Golden Kites Awards, taking home the hardware for Best Actor (Dustin Nguyen), Best Director (Luu Huynh), Best Cinematography, Best Score and - in a tie - Best Picture. Our congratulations to all involved and a reminder to ScreenAnarchy readers to keep an eye on Vietnam ... the industry there is ready to explode ...
