We've been keeping tabs on Bumba Atomika for a good long while now. Director Senesi Michele talks a good game about wanting to revive Italy's moribund genre film industry and all the early signs have looked good. And now the director himself has passed along a quartet of images from his bizarre little film, a picture he describes as "A fusion of different genres, a truly violent, bloody and immoral comedy ... The movie tells the weird story of corpses sold through the internet, sensual necrophile women, siamese twins, shaolin warriors and christological appearences. Italian wine, beer and any other sort of alcohol flood in a movie which aims to be the definitive picture about the (ab)use of alcohol."
