Here's a description of Unknown from 120dB Films' website: "You return to consciousness, not knowing who you are, not knowing where you are... compound this with being trapped in a desolate warehouse in the desert, with four other men simultaneously coming to in varying states of amnesia. These are men who've been brutalized, and by your comparative lack of injury it dawns on you that the violence inflicted may well have been by your hands... Are you a victim or perpetrator? ¶ This is the premise and the dark essence of 'Unknown', a unique piece of crime fiction that will play on viewers' expectations like never before. There are no defined protagonists and antagonists here, not until the final threads of the enigma are unraveled. Until then, the characters are limited by their deeply-rooted personality archetypes and fragmented recollections as the struggle for survival becomes a gamble between limited perceptions and a myriad of possible truths, the shadow of extreme violence tempering every word, every move. ¶ Shards of memory and a manic search for identity collide with distrust, manipulation, and desperation as the five men try to piece together their brutal circumstance. One thing is for sure - someone put them there for reasons Unknown, and, before long, it's frighteningly apparent that whoever did so is coming back... ¶ As the moments and hours pass, paranoia takes hold. To fathom befriending the one who's been plotting your demise, someone who could turn on you once they discover who they are, is truly disturbing, and yet necessary for survival. All characters in this warehouse are trapped without knowing enough... so piece by piece, against time, they struggle to assemble the truth. The door could fly open at any time, bringing the return of the architects of this devilish scenario."
