'Kamikaze Girls', sneaked out on an HK DVD and an R1 USA DVD but barely a splash let alone the torrent of adoration I had hoped for - one of the most joyous experiences of last year, every bit as fascinating as anything I've seen in recent years - and now here's an early announcement for the latest from Tetsuya Nakashima which looks like a much better film.
Shame there's no listing including English Subtitles, but there's still time to blast them (Amuse Soft Entertainment) with emails if you're inclined to give it a try, as I am. Still, I would prefer they did that, than pretend there isnt a chance of an HK DVD appearing somewhere down the line which would leave the company relatively cash poor.
