Here's a synopsis for Metropolitan Nightmare from FilmExport Group's website: "Through an exasperated, ironic and surreal way of life, this is a story of a few aimless youths, in a city that doesn't recognize their right to a different existence. Testa Di Legno (Luca Di Girolamo) was born in a mental hospital and after 30 years he is sent away. Now this awkward man with his head shaved and only a teddy bear as his friend, encounters a common thief, Armando (Geremia Galloni), a criminal jokester, not without a certain charm, who, between a card game and a robbery, uses violence as his only available weapon to survive. In one way or another he entangles even the sweet Marika (Elisabetta Rocchetti), his naive girlfriend, who has ended up on the street for her love of him. Engaged by Armando's strong personality, Testa will follow him in raids and adventures and become a victim of unpredictable events. Despite everything, between these very different creatures, a close friendship will arise which will give Armando an idea of a better life. Coloured by never-seen-before acting and captivating editing, the ending speeds into a vortex of tension an emotion up till the last moment. Wistful, unpredictable and jam-packed, through highly handling dramatic moments, humor and poetry are not forgotten."
