C.L. Gregory's BLOOD LAKE, starring CJ Summers, Tyler Houston, Sandy Simmers, India Summer, Bobby Ba

Yesterday, on the website of his production company Midnite Films, C.L. Gregory posted the following message regarding the release of his hardcore horror movie Blood Lake: "Well, it's official - kinda. Blood Lake gets released September just in time for Halloween. It's certainly been a long time coming. I'm hoping nothing but the best for Blood Lake." Blood Lake had previously been scheduled to be released on DVD in the U.S. on April 25th. It's being produced by Midnite Films and LFP's VCA Pictures.

Blood Lake stars CJ Summers, Tyler Houston (viewer discretion is advised), Sandy Simmers, India Summer, Bobby Banger (viewer discretion is advised), Johnny Depth, Dick Chibbles (viewer discretion is advised), and Dan Holmes.

Here's a synopsis for Blood Lake that was on Midnite Films' website: "In the 1890's a small band of religious followers disbanded from the other religious sects on the eastern mainland under the leadership of preacher Jacob. His strict obedience to the Bible to flee the lust of the flesh and rebuke the sins of men, made many want to follow him. No one knew who he was, no one knew his true intentions, but they followed. ¶ For many months they travelled west, searching for the place where Jacob was told by God to settle his faithful followers. ¶ They were never heard from again. ¶ A search party was sent but all that was found was a gruesome site of dead bodies, each with the look of terror on their faces, but never could they find the one who led them to their death - PREACHER JACOB. ¶ All that was found was a book - a blood book which listed the names of all who went with him. ¶ The book was supposedly destroyed along with all of the remains of the families and nothing was ever spoken of it again. ¶ That was in 1890 and for over 100 years nothing has changed - until now. ¶ Someone found the book."

BTW, Gregory has also posted some info on two other projects that he's involved with: "Vampire Diaries is currently being looked at for getting picked up, even on a smaller scale. I'll keep you updated. And I am proud to announce here that the script for The Kentucky Fried Horror Show is now finished and we are in pre-production for this disturbing film, set to be shot in the hills of Kentucky."
