As was reported here on ScreenAnarchy back on December 5th of last year, the screenplay for Jissha-ban: Maicchingu Machiko sensei: Tôdai o-juken daisakusen!! was written by Kawasaki and Shiori Adachi, based on the manga serial "Maicching Machiko Teacher" ("Maicchingu Machiko sensei") by Takeshi Ebihara. The movie's principal cast is as follows: Hanako Nanjô, Hikaru Wakana, Anri Sugihara, Yûki Tomoyama, Ryôhei Inoue, Ijirî Okada, Jerry Fujio (Jerî Fujio), Yoshiko Matsuda (rightmost), and Tsuyoshi Maekawa.
Total Media Corporation (TMC K.K. / K.K. Tî Emu Shî) is scheduled to release Jissha-ban: Maicchingu Machiko sensei: Tôdai o-juken daisakusen!! on DVD (DOS-014 and DOS-014F) in Japan on February 22nd.
Kawasaki's previous directing credits include Executive Koala (Koara kachô), Kabuto-O Beetle (Kabuto-Ô Bîtoru), and The Calamari Wrestler (Ika resurâ).
