Matt Lucas to Play Alfred Hitchcock

Well here's somethin' - I just stumbled on this a second ago and I don't see much furthur info on it beyond just: "This is happening", so we'll see how the whole "truth of the matter" pans out.

But it looks like Matt's going to be (appropriately) playing the role of the Amazing-yet-Oscar-denied Alfred Hitchcock alongside Ewan McGregor in a film about Alfred's early life in London. Digital Spy points out that the plans would dash any glimming hopes of a Season 4 of Little Britain - plans which, if I recall correctly, were questionable in the first place.
