Mmm, lovely. We've been talking - well, ranting, really - about Sha Po Lang ever since catching it at the Toronto Film Festival last year and the lovely people at YesAsia have just offered us a lovely piece of SPL swag to give away: a large format (210 cm x 150 cm) Sha Po Lang poster. For those of you unfamiliar with metric measurements 210 centimeters comes in just under seven feet! This thing is MASSIVE! Check a larger version here.
For those of you unfamiliar with them, YesAsia are one of the primary sponsors of ScreenAnarchy - most of our bills are paid through affiliate links to YesAsia - and have been my personal first choice for buying Asian DVDs for several years now. The prices are good - particularly when you work in their free shipping offers - and the range of shipping centers means that most parts of the world can shop without worrying about being dinged for customs charges. Plus they have branch offices in Hong Kong, Japan and Korea giving you a one stop shop, and they're entirely English friendly.
Since they're directly sponsoring this contest, here's how it's going to work: All YesAsia purchases made via a ScreenAnarchy affiliate link between now and January 31st will automatically be entered into a draw for the poster. At the end of the month one name will be drawn and that lucky soul is going to have to clear some serious wall space. Here are some links to things we've recommended strongly over the past while to get you started:
