It was announced this week that Sabu's Hold Up Down (Hôrudo appu daun) will open at The Globe Tokyo (Tôkyô Gurôbu-za) on October 28th.
As was reported here on ScreenAnarchy back on May 17th, Hold Up Down stars the members of the boy band V6: Masayuki Sakamoto, Hiroshi Nagano, Yoshihiko Inohara, Gô Morita, Ken Miyake, and Jun'ichi Okada - who recently starred in Izuru Narushima's Fly, Daddy, Fly (Furai, dadi, furai). The rest of the movie's principal cast is as follows: Yû Kashii (she's also in Takashi Minamoto's The Great Blackout Coming (Daiteiden no yoru ni)), Ayumi Itô, Arata Furuta (he was in Kankurô Kudô's Mayonaka no Yaji-san Kita-san and Tetsuo Shinohara's Karaoke Terror (Shôwa kayô daizenshû)), Yûki Himura (of Bananaman - on the right), Leo Morimoto (Morimoto Reo; he was in Satoshi Miki's In the Pool (In za pûru)), Masatô Ibu (he was in Satoshi Miki's Kame wa igai to hayaku oyogu and Masaaki Tezuka's Samurai Commando: Mission 1549 (Sengoku jieitai 1549)), Tomu Miyazaki (9th person listed), Eihi Shiina (she played Asami Yamazaki in Takashi Miike's Audition (a.k.a. "Ôdishon")), Osamu Shitara (of Bananaman - on the left), and Hitomi Takahashi.
Two years ago, the members of V6 starred in Sabu's Hard Luck Hero (a.k.a. "Hâdo rakku hîrô").
