A trailer has been added to the official website for Shinpei Hayashiya's Shinkaijû Reigô. The movie's title recently was changed from "Reigô tai Yamato"; its pre-production title was "A-140F6: shinkaijû Reigô sakusen" (not "A-140F6: shinkaijû zero-gô sakusen", as has been reported elsewhere). It was shot, in part, in Chuuk (a.k.a. Truk), Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). As was previously reported here on ScreenAnarchy, its principal cast apparently is as follows: Taiyô Sugiura (he's also in Takashi Kayane's Naniwa kin'yû-dô: Haibara shôbu! Kishikaisei no otoshimae!!), Mai Nanami, Yukijirô Hotaru, Susumu Kurobe, Ukon Ichikawa, Yôko Kanda, Yui Nirehara, Isamu Ago, Mubu Nakayama, Masayoshi Okada, Representative Kôki Kobayashi (LDP - Tokyo 10th District), Mickey Curtis, the late Yumika Hayashi (she's also in Kei Nakata's Muhito: The Matchless Man (Muhito), was in Kairakutei Black's story "'Yotsuya kaidan' de gozaru" in the omnibus horror movie 'Chô' kowai hanashi the movie: yami no eigasai, played the mother in Tamakichi Anaru's Mother and Daughter: Spit-Swapping Seduction (Hahako (boshi) no daeki (shizuku)), and played the gluttonous woman in Hisayasu Satô's Naked Blood (Naked blood: megyaku) - a.k.a. "Megyaku: akuma no yorokobi - itai no ga suki" (VHS box title)), Yûma Kusakawa, and Yôji Tanaka (he's also in Kôji Wakamatsu's 17 and Life (17-sai no fûkei - shônen wa nani o mita no ka) and Hideaki Sunaga's Nagurimono: The Fighter (Nagurimono)). It seems that former Prime Minister Yoshirô Mori, who early last year was considering playing an admiral in the movie (see here), decided not to be in it.
