Trailers, Trailers, Trailers!

You're probably bored out of your mind right now with whatever crazy holiday spectacles you were involved in (random Toronto cold, the only open hotel bar in the area and Life Aquatic) and need some mind melting time. Well, good for you - ScreenAnarchy is here!!

Here's a list of the trailers that have recently slipped between the cracks either because they're going to be nausea inducing - look, Martin Lawerence! - or just a plain oversight a la the new Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson comedy. So now put down the turkey, ham or canned beef; the brand new gadget that makes you feel better about your life, and view away.

Wedding Crashers - Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson team up as two friends who crash weddings to get the doin' it on with hot girls. I don't really care what happens - it's Vince Vaughn, this man makes me laugh regardless (except when he makes me cry with "Domestic Disturbance").

The Longest Yard - A remake of the 70's Burt Reynolds movie (Burt Reynolds is in this one to) starring Adam Sandler, Chris Rock and Nelly. I think this might be another "Bullet Proof" from Sandler. I liked "Mean Machine" better.

Sahara - Michael Eisner may be leaving the entertainment industry (who knows when that will actually happen though) but now we have his son to contend with. Breck Eisner directs this soon to be National Treasure-esque flop starring the always unbankable Matthew McConaughey, Steve Zahn (someone give him a good role please!) and Penelope Cruz (always a good sight). Indiana Jones - see what you've become!

Kicking and Screaming - Will Ferrell as a children's soccer coach? So it looks aabout as adult as "Elf" but I laughed my ass off at Elf so judge me and my Will Ferrell laughing ass all you want. I'll see it. Probably for $4.25 at the Rainbow though.

Miss Congeniality 2 - How do you make a bad movie even worse? Well they seem to have been able to accomplish that here with this Sandra Bullock sequel. What, was Forces of Nature 2 not greenlighted?

Rebound - A Martin Lawerence movie. I don't need to say anything more do I? I thought so. Just incase I do - go rent or see "What's the Worst that Can Happen?" or "Black Knight" and see for yourself - or just go steal them from the closest youth group video library.

The Weather Man - A new Nicholas Cage film from Gore Verbinksi, centering around a tv news weatherman, his luck of getting things thrown at him from fans on a weekly basis and reconnecting with his daughter. Oh, and he walks down the street with a crossbow at one point. I'm still not sure how bad this one could be, (remember The Family Man anyone?) but it's nice to see Hope Davis in something.

That's it. I'm going back to sleep. Wait....I'm at work today. ugh.
