First up, IGN Filmforce has posted the trailer for Assault on Precinct 13, the new remake of the John Carpenter flick, here. I confess to never having seen the original, but this has got a fun cast and looks like a good time in a things going boom sort of way ...
Next, Yahoo's got the official teaser and some production design art for The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy here. This is basically the same teaser released at the San Diego comic-con, but it's the first time it's been available in any sort of official manner and they've also gone and put a firm release date on the thing. May can't come fast enough ...
Next, Moviefone's got the Scorsese helmed The Aviator trailer here. Again, great cast, compelling story and visually it looks to be some of Scorsese's best work ...
We move along to Be Cool, the sequel to Get Shorty. Though it doesn't have an official trailer yet, the official site just launched with a flash animated intro and it looks pretty sweet. Check out The Rock's bad afro ... if there's anything that can rescue John Travolta's career it's a good bit of Elmore Leonard dialogue ... I'm pretty excited to see what Vince Vaughan does in this, too ...
And finally, Kong is King has posted some behind the scenes footage charting the visual effects process for Peter Jackson's King Kong. The scary thing is that as good as the 'finished footage' looks it's just a quicky trial scene to see if these methods are going to work. This is going to be some mighty impressive stuff ...
