There's a trailer for Minoru Kawasaki's Kani Goalkeeper (Kani gôrukîpâ) on the website of Walkerplus K.K. (K.K. Wôkâpurasu). (Thanks to Kung Fu Cult Cinema for this information.)

As was previously reported here on ScreenAnarchy, the screenplay for Kani Goalkeeper was written by Kawasaki and Masakazu Migita, based on a story by the former. The movie's principal cast is as follows (listed order corresponds to website order): Mikisuke Haruyama, Saaya (on the left), Sayaka Tashiro, Naoto Takenaka, Hiroshi Fujioka, Hitoshi Ozawa, Aya Koizumi, Akihiro Shimizu, Michiko Shimizu, Yakan Nabe, Nao Oikawa, Arthur Kuroda (Kuroda Âsâ), and football (a.k.a. soccer) player Hiroaki Morishima.

BBMC K.K. (K.K. BBMC) is scheduled to release Kani Goalkeeper on sale DVD (MCSD-30043) in Japan on May 26th, and theatrically there on the following day.

Kawasaki's previous directing credits include Jissha-ban: Maicchingu Machiko sensei: Tôdai o-juken daisakusen!!, Executive Koala (Koara kachô), Kabuto-O Beetle (Kabuto-Ô Bîtoru), and The Calamari Wrestler (Ika resurâ).
