FLAME AND CITRON Director Shows His Lighter Side With SUPERCLASICO
Strange as it may sound, in the cinematic worlds created by Ole Christian Madsen (Flame And Citron, Prague, Nordkraft) the story of a man traveling to Argentina to finalize his divorce counts as 'light entertainment'. You see, Madsen is a director best known for tackling difficult emotional material and doing it very well. What's even more surprising though is that this one doesn't just look like by his standards but by just about anyone's as Madsen is playing his latest - Superclasico - as a straight up slapstick romcom.

Anna has moved to Buenos Aires to live out her dream of being a sports agent and ends up falling for Argentina's biggest football star. Instead of mailing the divorcee papers, her husband Christian flies out with his dysfunctional teenage son to deliver them in person, all the while secretly hoping to win back his wife and his life ...

Paprika Steen stars as Anna and Anders Berthelsen as Christian. Check the trailer below.
