GHOST IN THE SHELL: First Look At The Major In Action In New Clip

With a trailer for the big budget live action adaptation of classic cyberpunk manga and anime Ghost In The Shell apparently just around the corner a very brief new teaser clip has arrived to whet the appetite. And as clips to tease go, this is a doozy.

As fans of the series know well, while the stories revolve around hacking when things get physical one of Major Motoko Kusanagi's great assets is her possession of a thermoptic suit - a high tech device that esstentially allows her to employ extremely effective camoflage in any circumstance, very nearly rendering her invisible. Oshii Mamoru's original anime feature film opened with a major sequence involving the thermoptic gear and now we get to see it in action for this latest entry in the canon with a nearly invisible Scarlett Johansson laying a beat down on her target du jour.
