Set to enjoy its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival this coming Sunday, September 11, the movie revolves around three women who share an apartment, as pictured above in another exclusive (Credit to Alma Cinema). That can be tough enough, but ... they are Palestinians ... living in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Ah. So just by its setting, we see that Maysaloun Hamoud, making her feature debut, has something more in mind than 'I hate my roommate.' To quote a portion of TIFF's program note: "In Between is a story of a certain kind of female friendship, a fierce bond that comes about because of shared gender, background, and hopes."
