Toronto 2016: Watch The Trailer And Clip From The Icelandic Thriller THE OATH
The Oath, the latest film from Icelandic director Baltasar Kormákur (Everest and Jar City) is coming to TIFF this weekend. We have a trailer and a clip from the film to share with you.
The Oath marks the first time in eight years that Kormákur is stepping back in front of the camera taking the lead role in the film.
In THE OATH, Kormákur plays the part of a father who sets off on a mission to try to pull his daughter away from the world of drugs and petty crime, only to discover that danger can be found in unexpected places.
The film debuts in the festival Saturday night at the Lightbox, and screens again on the 11th at Scotiabank 3 and the 15th at Scotiabank 11.
