Things Get Weird With THE MONK AND THE DEMON
On first glance you'd be forgiven for confusing upcoming Russian comedy The Monk And The Demon with a low rent PBS special about Orthodox monks in Russia. But give it a minute. Or, less than a minute, actually. Because if you do you'll discover a scene in which the purported villain of the piece irons his clothes with his ass. And things just get weirder from there.
Director Nikolay Dostal is a veteran hand witha filmography going back to the mid 80s but beyond that I know virtually nothing. Is monk comedy a thing in Russia? It certainly is here. Take a look at the trailer below.
