Park Chan-wook Adapting Japanese Sci-fi Novel GENOCIDAL ORGAN
Park Chan-wook fans have reason to rejoice. One of our favorite Korean directors, ever, will be adapting Genocidal Organs, the 2007 sci-fi novel by Japanese author Project Itoh, according to The Tracking Board

Set in a time when Sarajevo was obliterated by a homemade nuclear device, the story reflects a world inundated with genocide. An American man by the name of John Paul seems to be responsible for all of this and intelligence agent Clavis Shepherd treks across the wasteland of the world to find him and the eponymous "genocidal organ."

Project Itoh's novel was translated into English in 2012. You have another reason to visit your local bookstore or shop online now! Park is working on a couple other projects right now so you have time to fit this read into your rotation.
