Natalie Dormer's THE FOREST Leads Killer Lineup For Frightfest Glasgow
Attention Glasgow, Scotland. If you need something to get all that saccharin aftertaste of Valentine's Day out of your system then Frightfest has the solution. At the end of February they have put together a great lineup of current horror favorites for Frightfest Glasgow.

Alan Jones, co-director, said today: "After its biggest year ever, raising the terror landscape bar in August and our diversification into other major media platforms, FrightFest returns to its beloved Glasgow Film Festival with a programme that celebrates the ground-breaking, the innovative, the unique, the extreme but most essentially all that's best and keynote about the action horror fantasy genre. So please be seated for the frights of your lives!"

The weekend event will open on Thursday, February 25th, with a gala screening of The Forest with Game of Thrones' Natalie Dormer in attendance.

The program continues on Friday, February 26th, with the UK premieres of Jessie Thomas Cook's The Hexecutioners and Sonny Mallhi's Anguish. Then there will be the world premiere of Cell, starring John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson. The fun continues with Joe Begos' The Mind's Eye and Tyler MacIntyre's goofy and gory Patchwork

Then on Saturday, February 27th, there is so much fantastic cinema goodness that the mind has trouble grasping how good it is. Start your day off with natural disaster flick The Wave. The much lauded anthology flick Southbound makes a stop by the fest. Get your kicks with Tony Jaa and Jing Wu with SPL 2: A Time for Consequences. The Walking Dead's Sarah Wayne Callies stars in Johannes Roberts' The Other Side of the Door (European Premiere).

And the day just keeps on going...

Can Evrenol's Turkish horror flick Baskin is coming to town with it's director in tow. Then there is the American remake of the French horror flick Martyrs. Everything concludes with Sean Byrne's latest flick The Devil's Candy.

See? We told this was a killer lineup. Pay close attention to the ticketing information that follows.
