As Variety also mentioned in its news piece, billboards promoting the new season have also hinted at some sort of Jon Snow plot development. Just two days ago, the Game of Thrones Facebook page put the poster to the left up, prompting a vigorous discussion. (In addition to over 267,000 shares and over 72,000 comments.) A number of fans posit that this could be the ultimate April Fool's joke, but that's pretty high budget. At the very least, you could say that the series has definitely pushed a few buttons.
