CON MAN: Tudyk And Fillion's Crowdfunding Campaign Sets New Records
Well Howdy! There was no question that Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion's crowd-funding campaign for the web series Con Man would meet its goal. But the Browncoats, and other fan circles, (but let's be honest, mostly Browncoats) turned out in droves and smashed a couple of crowd-funding campaign records since the campaign started just a couple days ago.

Screen Daily reported that by midnight on its first night they had surpassed their goal of $425,000 and sat at a cool million. That is the most funds raised by a web series within the first 24 hours.

As I write this report the campaign has raised $1.675 million, which sets another record, the most raised by a web series. Ever.

With 28 days to go when the campaign hits the $1.75 million mark Tudyk will be able to film a 12 episode first season and a lost episode of the show within the show, Spectrum

Alan Tudyk shared a trailer for the web series, which you can watch below. I hope this happens to me when I become famous. Funny stuff.

And you have not made a donation yet you can visit the campaign page here.
