The Many Faces Of Sean Bean
Last week, there was a Game of Thrones event in cinemas, in IMAX cinemas even. Anticipation for the fifth season of the incredibly favorite show is high enough to make people rewatch the ending of the fourth season in theaters, with the promise of some peeks towards what is coming in the next few months.
It is an astounding testament to the series' successes. Can you all remember the time when the first teasers for season one were arriving, or even the news that HBO was "looking into it"? A lot of people assumed it was going to be a quick cash-grab, trying to wring money out of the post-LordoftheRings fantasy craze.
But there was also a lot of anticipation, and not only to see how much blood and nudity HBO would dare keep in: the trailers had Sean Bean, revealing a perfect casting for the role of Ned Stark.
Even now, with his on-screen time somewhat limited in the series lately (no spoilers from me), his shadow still looms large over everything in it.
