Robot Hand Unleashed In Trailer For Erik Matti's KUBOT: THE ASWANG CHRONICLES
Filipino director Erik Matti had a very busy 2012, shooting a trio of films with erotic thriller Rigodon, effects driven action-horror-comedy Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles and Cannes selected crime thriller On The Job. He contributed a spot to The ABCs Of Death 2 this year but has been otherwise absent from screens since On The Job, with a number of projects in development but that ends on Christmas Day with the Filipino theatrical release of Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles 2.

The scale of things is much bigger this time out with the surviving cast members from the first film - with the exception of Lovi Poe, who was publicly berated by the director for breaking her contract - fleeing the small town setting of the original for the big city and finding that they're not free of the aswang threat there, either. Cue an attack, a dismemberment, a robot hand and a whole lot more action ...

But don't take my word for it, the full theatrical trailer has now arrived. Check it out below!
