PREDESTINATION Trailer Twists And Turns Through Time
The new feature by the Spierig Brothers (Undead, Daybreakers) spins a fascinating yarn that takes place in an intricately-detailed alternate universe, slowly transforming into a mind-bending thriller. I saw it at SXSW in March, and although I got tripped up by the paradoxes, this is a dreamy rich ride, and a tender character study featuring an outstanding performance by Sarah Snook and very good ones by Ethan Hawke and Noah Taylor.
Predestination chronicles the life of a Temporal Agent sent on an intricate series of time-travel journeys designed to ensure the continuation of his law enforcement career for all eternity. Now, on his final assignment, the Agent must pursue the one criminal that has eluded him throughout time.
The film will open in Australian cinemas on August 28. Here's the trailer.
