The Many Faces Of Nikolaj Coster-Waldau
With the fourth season of Game of Thrones in full swing, let's take a look at the actor playing Jaime Lannister: Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.
Quite possibly one of the most feline-looking male actors on the planet, Nikolaj is perfectly cast as the pride of the lions of Clan Lannister. Apart from having the looks and the moves, he is a fine actor as well. A good thing that is too, as Jaime Lannister has a character-rollercoaster instead of a character-arc. Admired and lauded for the evil things he has done, reviled and scorned for the good things he has done, Jaime can't help but be pretty messed up at this point in the story.
What surprised me, and gave me the idea for using him in this quiz, is that Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has actually been around as an actor for several decades already. He flits between Hollywood and his home country of Denmark at will, appearing in quite a number of famous films from both sides of the Atlantic. Recently, I rewatched one of my favorite European thrillers from the nineties. It had been nearly twenty years since I had seen it last, and to my surprise Nikolaj turned out to be the lead actor!
