Watch The First Ten Minutes Of STAGE FRIGHT
Stage Fright, the debut feature from Canadian filmmaker Jerome Sable is now available on iTunes and On Demand in the US and will open in cinemas on May 9. If you still need convincing that you must see this musical horror comedy, then why not sit back and watch the first ten minutes? You will get a taste of the blood and showmanship that Sable has in store for you in his film. Check it out below.

Starry-eyed teenager Camilla Swanson wants to follow in her mother's footsteps and become a Broadway diva, but she's stuck working in the kitchen of a snobby performing arts camp. Determined to change her destiny, she sneaks in to audition for the summer showcase and lands a lead role in the play, but just as rehearsals begin, blood starts to spill, and Camilla soon finds herself terrified by the horror of musical theatre.

Stage Fright stars Allie MacDonald, Douglas Smith, Meat Loaf, and Minnie Driver.

Was pretty amped to see the film after the impressive trailer. Wow. How wrong was I. It seriously didn't know what it wanted to be. Felt like a cross between High School Musical, Glee and some minor elements of the Scream franchise. Although it was beautifully shot, more effort went into the musical performances than into the horror elements. The kills were kinda lame and un-eventful. Another poster that is far better than the film. And yet another retro inspired film using John Carpenter's favourite typeface...Albertus. Also recently seen in Almost Human.
