First Images From Kim Ki-duk 'Trauma Film' ONE ON ONE

When writing about Korean auteur Kim Ki-duk's upcoming One On One recently HanCinema referred to the picture as a 'trauma film'. And while I can't be certain whether they're quoting the director himself on that front or if they picked up the phrase from somewhere else it certainly seems to be an apt description for a great deal of Kim's work, particularly of a film inspired by such a strong sense of disgust with corruption in his own government that Kim says of his latest work, "If you don't feel murdered, then don't watch the movie."

Yes, it's going to be another happy one.

One On One is scheduled for a May release in Korea - meaning perhaps a selection in Directors Fortnight in Cannes? - and we've got the first artwork below.
