New RUROUNI KENSHIN: KYOTO INFERNO Trailer: Blades Flash Aplenty
A new teaser for manga-to-film swordplay epic Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno has popped up. Fans of the first film will not be disappointed. Fans of Fujiwara Tatsuya may be, though, as he is unrecognizable in his Shishio make-up. Pity. Such a pretty man.

Kenshin Himura (Sato Takeru) goes up against pure evil Makoto Shishio (Fujiwara Tatsuya), who is attempting to overthrow the Meiji government. The fate of the country hangs in the balance as Kenshin Himura takes up the sword that he vowed to never draw again.

Kyoto Inferno opens in Japan on August 1. The second part, Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends opens two weeks later on September 13. The sequels were directed by Ohtomo Keishi, who directed the first Rurouni Kenshin film in 2012.

It's spot on to the manga so you can't hold that against it.
