We Have The Exclusive US Trailer & Poster For WRATH OF VAJRA Right Here!
Hotly anticipated Chinese martial arts/horror hybrid The Wrath of Vajra is scheduled to open theatrically in Hong Kong on March 6th, however, only 12 days later on March 18th it'll hit store shelves in the US, thanks to Asian film superheroes, Well Go USA. Directed by frequent Johnnie To collaborator, Law Wing Cheong (Punished, Donnie Yen's upcoming Iceman) and starring Xing Yu (Journey to the West: Conquering Demons), a rising martial arts wunderkind, The Wrath of Vajra looks like a lot of punishing fun.

Twitch has your first look at the official US trailer and brand new poster for The Wrath of Vajra, a film that looks like it could be a hit with many of you readers. Check out the poster above and gnarly trailer below.

Before the West entered World War II, a Japanese death cult called the Temple of Hades is ordered to aid in the spiritual destruction of China. Their method: abduct their enemies' children and train them as killers for the Emperor. Young Vajra was especially gifted, but swears a secret oath of revenge when his brother dies.
Now the greatest assassin in the temple, Vajra escapes to China and begins his quest to protect the innocent, and destroy the ones responsible for making him a living weapon.
A former Shaolin monk, martial arts action star Xing Yu (aka Shi Yanneng) stars as Vajra in his first leading role.

Hmm... Vajra means Thunderbolt in Sanskrit and Vajra Mushti is the name of an Indian Martial Art. I wonder if there's a connection...
