The big screen adaptation of Daniel Schaffer's graphic novel
The Scribbler is coming to screens in the Fall of 2014 thanks to Xlrator Media. They acquired the North American rights to the film today. The Scribbler was directed by John Suits, producer of festival circuit hits

Bad Milo. The screenplay was written by Schaffer from his own material.
THE SCRIBBLER follows Suki (Katie Cassidy), a young woman confronting her destructive mental illness using "The Siamese Burn," an experimental machine designed to eliminate multiple personalities. The closer Suki comes to being "cured," she's haunted by a thought... what if the last unwanted identity turns out to be her?
Cassidy will be joined on screen by Michelle Trachtenberg (
Buffy and
Gossip Girl), Eliza Dushku (
Buffy and
Dollhouse), Gina Gershon (
Killer Joe and
Bound), Sasha Grey (
The Girlfriend Experience and other earlier work I cannot admit seeing... cough), Garret Dillahunt (
Winter's Bone and
The Road), Michael Imperioli (
The Sopranos) and Billy Campbell (
The Killing).
