Greg Christie's FEAR AND LOATHING Series Could Exist In The Real, Actual World With Your Help!
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you what I am reasonably certain is the world's first ever crowd funding campaign to offer black light erotica as a supporter reward. And that can only mean one thing: ScreenAnarchy's resident madman, Greg Christie, is up to his old tricks.

As regular readers here already know, Christie has been responsible for a series of utterly outlandish articles over the past few years, articles that ran disguised as film festival coverage for events that Greg had (mostly) not actually attended while skewering the scene with such accuracy that it was almost impossible to tell what was real, what was not, and after a certain point who the hell cared, anyway, because they were so much fun to read. Also, they had demons, vagina monsters, big guns, copious consumption of drugs and narcotics, and Michael Cera having sex with a girl sporting a tattoo of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles villain Krang.

The reaction to Christie's Fear and Loathing pieces was fantastic to see play out in real time. Some (including other writers here) were perplexed. Some (including other writers here) were infuriated. Some (including other writers here) were greatly amused. I got angry letters from publicists. We had a sincere conversation amongst ourselves about whether we needed to be worried about libel or whether the pieces were clearly enough satire to be protected by law. Greg got himself banned from one film festival who hated the joke and invitations to others who clearly got it and embraced it. We got hate mail, we got fan mail, and it became very, very clear that each new piece - and, by extension, their creator - was an event unto itself.

And now you can own them forever, in gloriously tactile fashion!

Yup, he's collated everything into, as he puts it, "380 pages of hard boiled film festival journalism with a healthy serving of illustrated comic book action & psychedelic erotica" titled Pissing In The PunchbowlAnd after doing the dance with a couple of conventional publishers Christie has opted to step around that whole world and publish it his own damn self via a crowdfunding campaign on IndieGoGo. Because, you know, Kickstarter found him offensive and banned him. Really.

You know you want this. Well, either this or the original black light erotica. But either way you need to do the same thing: Go here and support the campaign.
