What Should MONTY PYTHON Perform At Their Reunion Show?

Editor, News; Toronto, Canada (@Mack_SAnarchy)
I have few regrets in my life. One of them is the only opposition I could offer up to my parents' decision to move from England to Canada was to soil my armor (diapers) as I was only a babe at the time. Had they decided to stay and I were still in England today I would stand a greater chance of nabbing a ticket to Monty Python's One-off Reunion Show, Monty Python Live (mostly), at the O2 Arena on July 1st.

The remaining Pythons are getting together and they made the official announcement today. They are planning to include Graham Chapman in some shape or form. Other than an urn of ashes, I hope. For those of us unable to attend fear not for the event will be filmed. Eric Idle will direct the show, "We'll be filming it and we'll try to flog it later." This will mark the first time in 40 years that the Pythons have performed on stage together in the UK.

So what can audiences expect from this reunion show? Well, hopefully the Pythons will play one of your favorites but they also plan on presenting some new material.

BBC News - Cleese said they would almost certainly include popular sketches such as The Crunchy Frog and The Dead Parrot, but reiterated that there would also be "some new material". "People do really want to see the old hits but we don't want to do them in a predictable way," he said. "The main danger we have is that the audience know the scripts better than we do." Idle - who will direct - said the audience should expect "comedy, pathos, music and a tiny piece of ancient sex".

So. If you are one of the lucky ones who gets a ticket to this monumental event what original material would you like to see? I present to you my top 5 choices of sketches and songs. Should the event be a success, Terry Jones pays off his mortgage, and I sacrifice enough virgins that the comedy gods smile kindly upon me and the Pythons bring their game across the pond and I get myself a ticket (gasps for air)... ... this is what I would like to see them do!

Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!
