The headline says it all, really ...
The Berlin film festival has announced the opening night presentation for their 2014 edition and that honor goes to Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel
, which makes the third time that Anderson has presented a film at the Berlin festival. Shot on location in Germany and due to roll out across Europe later in the month, it's a natural fit. Take a look at the trailer below.
THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL recounts the adventures of Gustave H, a
legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and
Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend. The
story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance
painting and the battle for an enormous family fortune -- all against
the back-drop of a suddenly and dramatically changing Continent.
