Watch Tony Jaa vs Marrese Crump In A New TOM YUM GOONG 2 Clip
Sahamongkol film has posted the second 3D clip for the highly anticipated Thai action flick Tom Yum Goong 2 on its official Youtube channel.  The clip showcases a fight scene with Tony Jaa, along with Jija Yanin (aka Jeeja Yanin) going up against rising American martial arts star Marrese Crump, who employs 52 Blocks or Jailhouse rock, a fighting style that was supposedly practiced and developed within the U.S. penal system.

The theatrical release date in Thailand is October 23.  You'll find the clip (with optional 3D mode) embedded below.

arturoOctober 16, 2013 8:00 AM

Yeh they cranked up the sound effects a little to much, but i think the movie will still be good fun..

it's too sad that only movie Tony Jaa I like is Ong Bak 1. Rest sucks including TYG 1. This one and other video clips of TYG2 don't do much for me.

Damn, was up with all the negativity here? you guys haven't even seen the entire movie yet and already predict it will be bad. Also, what do u guys expect from a movie like this (other than a decent-enough story with lots of over-the-top martial arts action)? thats what were getting it seems, and i dont know about you guys but thats all i expect, thats all i want. To want more than that from a TONY JAA film (like top-class brilliant emotional evoking story writting) is asking for too much imo

AJ SimsOctober 24, 2013 3:01 PM

what? thats just a sample of 1 scene. wait til u see the movie before u judge lol

Todd BrownOctober 24, 2013 4:29 PM

To glibly accept that you're going to get a crap script means that producers will just keep churning this stuff out without any attention to character or story and the genre will just mire itself down in mediocrity. History has born this out over and over again. Demand better. There's no reason at all a good fight film can't have a good script and that's truth regardless of where it's from and who is starring.

That I DO agree with.

However, I am seeing this film in theaters if it makes it that far into the US. But if not, I'll buy the 3D blu-ray. I'm actually impressed with what I've seen so far. And again, I don't think any of us have seen the whole movie.

Excuse me? The first Tom Young Goong is Jaa'a best damn movie so far,to date---even better than Ong Bak--so it makes perfect sense that he's remaking it
