Billions Of Rupees Explode On Screen In The DHOOM 3 Theatrical Trailer

India's biggest action franchise is back with its third installment. Dhoom 3 marks the return of Jai (Abhishek Bachchan) and Ali (Uday Chopra) as Mumbai cops who love drama and giant explosions. Joining them this go around as the "anti-hero", I think that means villain in this case, is Bollywood megastar Aamir Khan. Khan's addition to the cast, as well as the casting of Katrina Kaif in the lead actress position, means that at the very least Dhoom 3 is probably one of the most expensive Bollywood films ever made, and that's before a single car even explodes.

We ran the teaser here a few weeks ago and I was quite unimpressed. This time around, however, I see a glimmer of hope. While not on par with its Hollywood counterpart, The Fast & the Furious, Dhoom 3 is looking pretty darned solid. If nothing else, Aamir Khan is pretty picky about his acting roles, so his inclusion in the cast probably means that there's some meat on these bones.
