Israeli directors Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado created quite the international stir with their debut film Rabies
a couple years back, the genre world embracing the first ever Israeli slasher wholeheartedly. And so when the duo returned with dark thriller Big Bad Wolves
at this year's Tribeca Film Festival the expectations were rather high. And they were met rather resoundingly with the film receiving a fantastic critical response and a quick pick up for US distribution via Magnet Releasing.
A series of brutal murders puts the lives of three men on a collision
course: The father of the latest victim now out for revenge, a vigilante
police detective operating outside the boundaries of law, and the main
suspect in the killings - a religious studies teacher arrested and
released due to a police blunder.
With the film now gearing up for its release in Israel the first trailer arrived online today and ScreenAnarchy is proud to premiere the English subtitled version so that those of you who missed it in Tribeca can see what all the chatter was about. Curious? Take a look below.
