Anderson Silva Anchors A Cast Of MMA Greats In First Teaser For TAPPED
See that kid on the right? The one staring at MMA fighter Krzysztof Soszyznki? Yeah. That's Cody Hackman - a five time world karate champion punching a little above his weight class in upcoming MMA set fight drama Tapped. Lucky for Hackman he's got cinematic badass Michael Biehn along with Anderson Silva and Lyoto Machida in his corner. Also lucky for him is that director Allan Ungar has clearly figured out how to capture the energy of MMA style fighting.

A disgruntled teenager, sent to do community service at a rundown Karate school, enters an MMA tournament to face the man who killed his parents.
You wouldn't go too far wrong considering this an MMA spin on The Karate Kid and with Anderson Silva set to defend his UFC middleweight title this week the producers have opted to release the first teaser now to give people a first look. Check it out below.

This probably won't be "good" but should be an enjoyable 90 minutes. Michael Biehn needs to be in more movies.

No title defense for Anderson Silva until July 6th

Clearly underground fighting element to this movie. They look 3 weight classes apart.

Wow. This looks like a total mash up of some "real" MMA, the typical, now cliché low budget action movie scenario of the "underground" fight circuit & some silly Kung Fu movie nonsense thrown in for good measure. hat a mess! LOL
Now, the question is - will it be a fun, entertaining mess or will it be a complete waste of the roughly 90 minutes that it'll take to sit through it?
