THE FOURTH SESSION Feels No Fear
One of the interesting parts of running ScreenAnarchy is the sheer volume of talented people it puts me in touch with. And I don't just mean in terms of coming into contact with already established filmmakers, but seeing long time contributors to the site make the step into filmmaking themselves with increasingly positive results. And the latest such example is from Ferran Brooks - a frequent contributor of coverage from the Sitges festival in Spain - who has just released a trailer to his directorial effort The Fourth Session.

Carol is a reporter who suffers a strange disease which leaves her with no fear of anything. She works making reports in places where it is rumored that there is paranormal activity with the intention of dismantle these rumors. A sort of "Man Vs Wild" of the paranormal.
For those concerned with such things the disease referenced is Urbach-Wiethe syndrome - an actual genetic ailment which can cause calicification in the amygdala and thereby impair the fear response. Check the trailer below.
