Watch The First Teaser For THE WOLVERINE
While Hugh Jackman's first solo foray as everyone's favorite X-Man didn't exactly set the box office or critic's pens on fire expectations are considerably higher for the James Mangold directed second effort, titled simply The Wolverine. It draws from one of the most popular storylines for the character, for one thing - revolving around Logan's time in Japan - and the early imagery has been strong. And now we get to see those images in motion.

The first teaser has turned up on MTV and for those who - like me - don't live in the USA and get cranky about geo-blocking on such things, we've included an embed of the new teaser below that should be viewable everywhere.

What say you, Wolverine fans? Anyone or anything in there jumping out at you in particular? Is this how you hoped Logan's time in Japan would play out? Let us know in the comments below.

Looks like another of those teasers for teasers. Another thing to chalk up to the Prometheus wall of shame (those teasers started with that one)

looks ok - i swear the west needs to up their action ante... i've seen better action in 80's kung fu flicks like swords men 2 and duel to the death... that being said i'll lower my expectations accordingly and probably enjoy this flick.

when will the photoshop poster trend end? Hasn't anyone noticed they look like fake shit? Anywho, this movie might be ok. Probably still a corny pop culture portrayal of the East though. 3-D?!?!

There's an old saying in Texas... Fool me once, shame on... you? Fool me - WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN!
